School Fete FAQs
How often do fairground rides need to be inspected?
Our fairground rides are inspected once a year.
Any attraction must be designed and manufactured to uphold certain health and safety standards before they can even be opened to the public.
Following this, they must be inspected annually for signs of wear and tear. This is a legal requirement.
How old do schoolchildren need to be to enjoy the fete?
We recommend that children over the age of six can safely attend the fete, but there are certain rides which have height restrictions.
Children will be able to go on these rides who have either reached this height, and must be at least above the minimum requirement.
Riding an attraction under the height restriction is dangerous and the standard should be enforced at all times.
How can I get a quote for the fete?
Whilst we work on a price share basis generally, there might be an instance where we think a payment is necessary.
The overall cost to have a school fete with Fun Time Amusements will depend on your proposed size of the school grounds covered and the attractions you want us to bring.
You can decide on your selection by looking at the pages on our site, with a choice of dodgems, inflatables, food stalls and more.
To request a quote, just call us today.
What food do you have available for the kids?
We have a wide range of fun foods for children which are typical for a good fete or funfair. These include candy floss bags and sticks, slushie snow cones and donuts.
All of our edible products are made freshly onsite and follow food hygiene safety guidelines, so you can be sure that your children are eating delicious treats.
Do my children need to be accompanied by an adult at the fete?
We suggest that all young children are accompanied by a person over 18 whilst they are having fun at the fete.
In the case of this being hosted at your school, we suggest that teachers are around the grounds to observe for any poor or inappropriate behaviour.
Even though we encourage our attendees to have fun, it is up to you to ensure this is done in a safe, controlled manner in order to lessen damage to our setup or harm to your pupils!
What Our Families are Saying
Thank you so much for sending down the 4 rides at the Gin Gin New Year’s Bash. Really appreciate the amount of atmosphere and fun that it created. As a committee we are taking the huge positive feedback from community members and the large crowd for an inaugural event as a successful first time event. We are expecting that we would love to do it again next year as so many have already talked about how great it was and will talk with you towards the end of the year about possible co-operation again next year.
