FAQs

Will I need a generator?

We provide all our jumping castles for hire with a blower to inflate the castle. This will require a power source at all times to keep the castle inflated. Standard household power is sufficient for this, and we can supply long extensions cables as part of the hire. If your event is at a park without access to power, we can supply a generator at an additional cost.

What size are the jumping castles?

The jumping castles we hire range in size from 3x3m to 7x7m. It is recommended to have a minimum of 0.5m clearance around the castle – you can find sizing and space requirements on the product page of all our jumping castles. The height of the jumping castles starts at 3.2m, and that height increases with larger jumping castle options.

How much does it cost to hire jumping castles in Rockhampton and Mackay?

Our jumping castle hire starts at $360, depending on the size and style of the jumping castle. We have many options available for different purposes, and our prices include the delivery, set-up and removal of jumping castles within the relevant areas.

What age requirements do you have for your jumping castles?

Smaller jumping castles are designed for children under 6. The medium ones are suitable for children up to 12 years old. These limits are based on the average weight of those age groups – further information is available on request.

Is there a weight limit for the jumping castles?

Small jumping castles can accommodate up to 8 children at a time. Medium jumping castles are suitable for up to 12 children at once. Again, more information is available on request.

Are you insured?

Funtime Amusements are fully insured and can provide a copy of our insurance policy if requested.

What are the rules about cancellations?

Your jumping castle hire can be cancelled at least 7 days before delivery. If you need to cancel less than 7 days before delivery, there will be a cancellation fee, and cancellations incur the full hire cost if made on the same day (unless weather-related).

Can a jumping castle be set up on concrete?

Yes, we use sandbags to secure the jumping castle in place and will put mats in front for additional safety.
